Prepare for an extraordinary season of riveting stories, stellar performances, and unforgettable memories in Alley Theatre’s 2025-26 Season! This year, the Alley brings you an incredible lineup of stories filled with adventure, humor, heart, and inspiration.
Did you know that the Alley is one of the only theatres in the US to have a Resident Acting Company? The company is a cornerstone of the theatre’s artistic identity. Comprised of seven actors, it brings a unique and vital element to Alley’s productions. It is not just performers; it is the heart and soul of the Alley.
These seven actors are featured in a variety of roles throughout our season. You won’t believe their range from dramas to comedies! Look around and see why they are excited about our upcoming productions.

Elizabeth Bunch
Elizabeth Bunch brought intrigue and wit to the stage as the mysterious Mrs. White in Clue. Next summer, she returns for another thrilling whodunit in Agatha Christie’s The Mirror Crack’d.
“One of the greatest joys of performing mysteries is when I get to be the guilty one or play a character encumbered by secrets. It makes a role so juicy! Agatha Christie is a genius at giving the audience just enough information so they can solve the mystery before the murderer is revealed onstage! What kind of detectives will you and your friends be?” – Resident Acting Company member Elizabeth Bunch
See Elizabeth in Agatha Christie’s The Mirror Crack’d, The Da Vinci Code, A Christmas Carol, The Importance of Being Earnest and Misery.

Michelle Elaine
Michelle Elaine made a memorable appearance as the bold Miss Scarlett in Clue, before joining the Resident Acting Company. In her second season as a Company member, she takes on the powerful role of Rose in August Wilson’s Fences.
“Clue was my first show with the entire Resident Acting Company, and it was such a delight! I joined the company in the 78th season with Noises Off – an initiation like no other. I can’t wait to bring to life the iconic role of Rose in August Wilson’s amazing play, Fences!” – Resident Acting Company Member Michelle Elaine

Dylan Godwin
Dylan Godwin captivated audiences as Will in Born with Teeth by Liz Duffy Adams. Next season, he returns to Adams’ work in the world premiere of Dear Alien.
“Four years ago, I had the pleasure of joining the Alley’s world premiere of Liz Duffy Adams’ Born with Teeth, a production that toured three top regional theatres. Liz’s work blends wit and language mastery, making it a joy to dive into another of her world premieres about human connection.” – Resident Acting Company member Dylan Godwin

Chris Hutchison
Audiences adored Chris Hutchison as Rochester, the leading man in Jane Eyre last year. Next season, he will play another iconic (but very different) literary character, Paul, in Misery opposite his wife and fellow Resident Acting Company member Elizabeth Bunch.
“Who needs couples counseling when you have theatre? Over 20 years, my wife has shot me, stabbed me, cursed me out, and fallen in love with me (and me with her). Looking forward to being kidnapped and held hostage soon!” – Resident Acting Company member Chris Hutchison

Melissa Molano
Melissa Molano unraveled a deadly puzzle in Agatha Christie’s And Then There Were None. Next season, she takes on another thrilling mystery, piecing together secrets as Sophie in The Da Vinci Code.
“As both an actor and audience member, I love the puzzle aspect of a mystery/thriller. Discovering clues, forming theories, and then- twists! Christie excels in that, and it’s exciting to expand our Alley mystery universe into Dan Brown’s mega puzzle of The Da Vinci Code.“ – Resident Acting Company member Melissa Molano

David Rainey
David Rainey brings holiday magic to the stage each season as Ebenezer Scrooge in A Christmas Carol, a beloved Alley tradition in a role he will be repeating for an eighth time. Next season, he takes on a much darker tale in the world premiere of The Body Snatcher, where the real horrors are all too human.
“I love being a part of the holiday season traditions in Houston. This season, I’ll not only learn the true meaning of Christmas as Ebenezer Scrooge in A Christmas Carol, but I’ll also be in London again, pushing medical boundaries as Dr. Noakes in The Body Snatcher during Halloween.” – Resident Acting Company member David Rainey

Christopher Salazar
Christopher Salazar embodied the legendary Oscar Wilde in Sherlock Holmes and the Jersey Lily. Next season, he steps into Wilde’s own world in the classic comedy The Importance of Being Earnest.
“Playing Oscar Wilde was a delight, and now we get to live in his brilliant words and sharp wit in The Importance of Being Earnest. It’s a truly hilarious play, and I can’t wait for audiences to share in the fun.” – Resident Acting Company member Christopher Salazar
